Newsletter: the tuning fork
Dear Newsletter-Reader,
your body is built to be a tuning fork: a transmitter and a receptor of energy. The only problem is that almost no one knows that it is supposed to be this way. Every single cell, every single fiber and all of the liquid have one principal function: to vibrate at the appropriate frequency.

Of course, the heart also exists to pump blood, the blood to nourish the cells and the nervous system to transmit signals. But, the known physical functions of the various organs, tissues and liquids are only part of the reason for their existence.
If you are interested in inner development, spirituality and self-realization, start getting used to seeing your physical body as your instrument to achieve your goals. I have met many thousands of seminar-goers over the last years. Most of those who have come preferred to ignore their bodies. Almost all who came talked a lot about “energy.” But almost no one wanted to see that the body is our “energy instrument.” My message is simple:
If you ignore your body, you might as well forget about spirituality and inner development.
If you are interested in energy and wish to achieve full self-realization, start training your body! Get into a regular regime of physical fitness and learn discipline this way. If you are already physically fit, this will be easy for you. If you are not physically fit, this will be more difficult. You will need a physical discipline. This can be as simple as walking, running, or you can make your discipline cycling, swimming, hiking in the mountains, skiing or even team sports.
You need to make it a discipline. Physical laziness and spirituality are total opposites. I am very aware that some people think I have an ego problem when I place photos of myself on my mountain bike or climbing a rock face with my skies on my back. In seminars I have often made it a point to place my racing bicycle in the seminar room and even to cycle to a seminar hotel. My motive here has nothing to do with ego: I want to make a point. Physical awareness is the first key to spirituality and self-realization. No one is going to go through intense inner transformation without intense physical awareness.
My suggestion is: Get to know your body first. Learn cellular awareness and learn physical discipline. Without first learning physical discipline, you will never learn spiritual and energetic discipline.
I consider this sort of discipline to be the minimum that one needs to move spiritually and developmentally. My personal preference for my life is to be an athlete first, a teacher and a writer second. This works for me. Without physical movement and discipline, I couldn’t even dream of writing my texts.
It was 4 degrees Celsius this morning and very foggy when I left the house early this morning on my racing bicycle. This is no reason not to ride. One only needs the appropriate clothing. I have written this not in order to boast in any way but rather to impart a deep and important message:
Start using your body as the tuning fork it was meant to be!
If you do this, you will see that the body, the mind and the energy system begin to become the one system they were always intended to be. When the process is complete, you will find that you have become the soul in the physical body. This is what humans were always intended to be.
