Dear Newsletter-Reader,
a little more than two months ago, on July 7th, 2011, something quite dramatic happened to me. I had a severe cycling “accident”
in which I “died” and came back to my body a short time later.
Most people call what happened to a “near-death
experience.” During the time I was outside the body, I was a in a very
different world than the physical reality that human beings know. I was in a
world filled with light and light beings. In this world, I had no relationship
to the blood-covered body called “Andrew Terker” lying on the ground. I was not
Andrew but a light being in a world filled with other light beings.
In this world of light there was no such
thing as time and space. There was simply eternity, serenity and joy. It was a
place of absolute happiness and peace.
Quite a number of people have asked me
since what the meaning of the “accident” could be – did I in some way “need”
the accident to happen, and what could be the purpose of having to spend a
considerable amount of time relatively motionless? Among other things, it
seemed to have ruined my cycling season and to have kept me from working for
quite a number of weeks.
The “accident” did have very deep meaning
for me, and it still does. I divide my life into the period before the “accident”
and the time afterward. For, the person who was Andrew Terker did not truly
come back. I can still remember most of the life that I knew as Andrew before
the “accident.” But, the incidents and circumstances that made up my previous
life have almost no relevance to who I am now am.
I know that this is difficult for most
people to understand. Only if you have had an experience in the eternity after
death and have come back, can you truly understand.
For, the light being that I was in the
“other world,” the world of eternity, came into my physical body. It was this
being that re-animated my physical body and filled this body with the peace and
serenity I now know as my everyday life.
Words cannot transport the experience I now
know as my normality. One can only experience it.

By the way, it turned out that my cycling
season was not ruined this summer. On the day I had my accident, July 7th,
the weather turned bad and remained so until the day I could ride again. On
that day, it stopped raining, and I started cycling again. My wife and I went back to riding in the mountains, simply enjoying life
massively.
“Time out,” said the light beings that
accompanied me back into physical life. “Enjoy the coming time and the
experience of light and lightness in the body on the ascents and descents until
it is time to work again.”
That was a month ago, and I continue to
enjoy the sport while basking in the peace and serenity of eternity in my body.
Soon, I will be standing before an audience
again. On the evening of Tuesday, September 27th, I will be in Zürich.
You may enjoy feeling the kind of peace and serenity that came into my body on
July 7th then, if you wish to join me on that evening.
