is life worth living? – a very simple solution to alienation
26.01.2012 - 08:51
On Monday I was riding the train home after a day of work in Zürich when a message came through the loudspeakers that the train line was blocked because of an “accident” with a person on tracks. There has been quite a number of such “accidents” in exactly the same place over the last months. The “accident” was clearly a suicide. And, the other “accidents” on this section of the line were also suicides. Everyone knows that. But, you will not find a mention of the word “suicide” in the press. The reason is very clear: No one wants to encourage even more suicides in a place that has unfortunately become very popular for ending one’s life.
Why do people kill themselves? How can one take one’s own life? How can life appear so worthless that a person can come to the conclusion that it is not worth living?
There are many reasons. Some of them are economic, but the greatest reason of all is alienation. Alienation is the deepest possible feeling of isolation on planet earth. Think about modern life. Are your relationships truly deep and fulfilling? Can you truly express your innermost feelings and thoughts to others? Or, are your relationships superficial, in which two people exchange clichés composed of fixed phrases whose meaning has long been lost?
Most adults on this planet feel like they live in the cocoon of an inner prison cell with no exit. Within this inner prison cell, they cannot truly reach out to others. One exchanges pleasantries such as “good morning,” “I wish you a pleasant afternoon,” or even “how are you?” But have you noticed that almost no one wants you to answer this question truly, because almost no one wants to know you truly feel. You will find that most people around you are afraid of the truth.
When you deal with people, you are expected to smile, to be pleasant and never to be direct or to go deep, to the things that are truly important.
The result is a world full of exceptionally lonely and sad people, all attempting to hide behind the smile of the platitudes and never telling the truth. In fact, most have become so used to the world of social clichés that they no longer have access to their emotional truth.
“How are you?” “Just fine” are too horribly hollow phrases in the world of social emptiness.
Where is the depth, the profundity of existence?
Unfortunately it is rare among humans, unless you are very lucky. Most people on our planet go through life in the sad and drastic isolation of the prison cell of their inner cocoon without ever truly getting to know what true communication is. They enter life as an infant with the high expectation of a fulfilled life of intense communication with the world around them and are totally shocked to find that there is rarely such communication with other human beings.
Where do newly born infants get their expectation of intense communication with the world around them?
Newly born infants come from another world. This world is non-physical. It is made of energy and full of energy beings. This is the world you go to when you die. There is no alienation or isolation there, only light and intense inner fulfillment.
Why do people commit suicide?
They secretly remember the non-physical world of pure light and intense fulfillment, and they wish to return to this existence. They are very mistaken when they think that suicide is the way back. For, it is not. Suicide is a path into darkness.
But, how can you back to the world of light and intense communication and fulfillment in the cocoon inner prison of human life? You may start by not demanding too much from your fellow human beings, who are in the same position as you.
There is a very simple means of entering the world of light and intense fulfillment in human, physical existence, no matter how your relationships are:
Every human being on this planet has at least two guiding angels, beings of light that accompany him or her from earliest infancy to the end of physical existence. GET TO KNOW YOUR GUIDING ANGELS! Get into communication with them.
This is far easier than you may believe. You simply need to know that they are there, always there for you.
Do you sometimes hear an “inner voice” that says, “Slow down a bit for a moment and enjoy nature.” Sometimes it may say, “Don’t take that second cup of coffee.” It may also say, “Don’t drink that,” or, “Stop smoking.” You may argue with this inner voice inside you or attempt to ignore it. But, this “inner voice” is the voice of your guiding angels.
If you attempt to fight with them or to ignore them, they will never judge you for it or even scold you. They will simply repeat the message again, for they wish that you hear their message for your own good.
Your guiding angels will never lead you to suicide, nor will they ever lead you to doing anything that is harmful to you. If you wish it and feel lonely, they will be in constant and exceptionally deep communication for your entire life, not matter how your human contacts are.
Get to know your guiding angels! They will never let you down. They will never lie to you, deceive you or cheat you. Your guiding angels will never criticize you. But, they will tell you the truth, even if you do not wish to hear it. They are the most important beings you could ever be in communication with, and this communication is for your entire life, if you want it.
Please do not expect your guiding angels to introduce themselves as “Sally” or “Bob.” They do not have names, as we know names. However, they will not be angry with you, if you wish them to have a specific name. They have no gender, and they are there only for you. No one else has the same guiding angels as you do.
Getting to know your guiding angels takes some time and some patience. But, getting to know them and developing the deepest possible relationship with them may be the most valuable thing you could ever do in your life.
